Founded by John Cooper in 1983, Toner Research Services is a private consultancy and research laboratory specializing in the area of toner and imaging supplies and their related raw materials. Toner Research Services principal research activities involve color, security, decorative and other novel toners. Consulting and research clients include the world's leading companies in the imaging field. The laboratory is located Harwich, Massachusetts, USA. Technical publications produced by Toner Research Services include; "Imaging Patent Abstracts", "Toner Technology Monthly", "Ink Jet Technology Materials Monthly", and "The Imaging Chemicals Report". Mr. Cooper is a chemist with over 25 years experience in toners and related imaging materials. He has held technical and management positions with Nashua Corporation, Aunyx Manufacturing (co-founder), Hercules, Inc. and was the founder of Colortone (now, Color Image Inc.). He is also a frequent speaker at industry conferences and is Chairman of IMI's Annual Ink Jet Ink, Toner & Imaging Chemicals Conference.
