    David R Spencer, President/CEO

  • Recognized authority in computer publishing and color printing with more than 30 years experience in product development, international marketing, and high technology general management

  • Expertise in electrophotographic, inkjet, and numerous other printing system technologies

  • Previously founder/chairman of Data Recording Systems, developer of LaserScribe™, the first 1000² dpi plain paper (xerographic) imagesetter

  • Previously group director of Muirhead NA and president of Muirhead USA (now part of Fuji)

  • Previously president of Datalog, a division of Litton Industries

  • Previously leader of Graphic Engineering at EG&G, Inc. (Read David's Personal Story)

  • Led numerous product developments including computer-to-plate (for USA Today), the Laser Tactical Digital Facsimile (deployed in Desert Storm), an early 600-page-per-minute laser printer, image compression technology presaging CCITT Group III, and the UPI Unifax II NewsPicture recorder, as well as the LaserScribe

  • Nine patents in digital image processing, facsimile data compression, and printing technology

  • Board advisor of LiquidPixels, Inc.; previously a director of PixelCraft, Inc. (a Xerox company), PowerSystems International, PetAssure, Inc., the Long Island Forum for Technology, and the Long Island Venture Group; judge for Seybold print quality shootout, Xerox PIXI awards, MIT Enterprise Forum; etc.
